H-1B, H-4 and EAD Extension Approval for Special Education Teacher and Family
Pandev Law’s Charleston immigration law firm office just received an H-1B extension approval for a Special Education Teacher as well H-4 and H-4 EAD approvals for the H-1B applicant’s spouse. This H-1B extension petition was filed with regular processing to save the employer the additional premium processing fees. Relying on the 240 day rule, the H-1B beneficiary was able to continue to work and reside in the US after the initial H-1B expiration date and while the H-1B extension was pending. The H-1B visa is granted to applicants who hold at least a bachelor’s degree and have a valid US job offer for a specialty occupation position.
H-4 Extension and EAD Extension Approval
Pandev Law’s Charleston immigration law office also received the H-4 extension approval notice and EAD extension approval notice for the H-1B applicant’s spouse. Our Charleston immigration attorney regularly files H-4 extension and H-4 EAD applications concurrently with the H-1B extension petition to ensure the H-1B applicant’s spouse can continue to live and work in the US. Usually, when the H-4 and H-4 EAD application are filed concurrently with the H-1B petition, all applications are adjudicated at the same time.
