H-1B Extension Approval for a Teacher
Pandev Law’s immigration law office recently obtained an H-1B extension approval for a teacher. The H-1B beneficiary will now pursue an employment-based green card through the PERM labor certification process. The prerequisites for being granted an H-1B visa are that the petitioner holds at least a bachelor’s degree in a field that is relevant to the H-1B position, in addition to a valid US job offer for a specialty occupation position.
If you want to find out more about the requirements for an H-1B visa, as well as what constitutes a specialty occupation position, give our article on the H-1B visa process a read. In the article you will also find out more about the H-1B visa itself, as well as about the process of obtaining one.
