Our immigration law office recently obtained an F-1 Student Visa for one of our clients, who can now pursue a degree at a U.S. higher education institution. We at Pandev Law, LLC wish him continued success in his academic career and hope he has a pleasant stay in the United States.

What is the F-1 visa?
An F-1 visa is granted to international students attending a U.S. higher education institution. In order to maintain their F-1 status, international students must take on the minimum course-load required to be considered a full-time student. F-1 students may remain in the U.S. up to 60 days beyond the length of their academic program, but are not eligible to work unless they have applied to the Optional Practical Training (OPT) Program. If you want more detailed information about the F-1 visa, then check out our article.
